ACYPL Named Official Supporting Partner of America250

The American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) is proud to announce our designation as an official Supporting Partner of America250, the bipartisan organization leading the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026.

As a Supporting Partner, ACYPL will leverage our legacy of fostering mutual understanding among rising political leaders – through 60 years of bipartisan exchanges and an alumni community of over 9,200 leaders in all 50 states and 137 countries and territories– and connect our work, legacy, impact, and network with America 250’s celebration of service and democracy.

ACYPL will contribute to several of America250’s tentpole initiatives, including:

• Our American Story, a storytelling project to collect and preserve our nation’s unique stories. ACYPL will collect stories from 60 years of our signature exchange programs via alums across the country, including some notable elected officials, highlighting stories of inspiration, connection, and celebrating democratic ideals.
• America Gives, a national service campaign bringing together business, non-profits, & other institutions to commit to increasing their levels of service in 2026. ACYPL will bring together our staff, partners, and alumni to give back as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

ACYPL exchange programs bring together leaders from across the country, from all backgrounds, to travel, learn about foreign affairs, and bring new ideas to policymaking and leadership. These programs reflect key pillars of America250: strengthening American democracy, enhancing global leadership, fostering mutual understanding at home and abroad, and striving to improve our country.
