    The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program is an intensive 6-week exchange for political professionals from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.  Following an orientation in Washington, DC, participants will  travel to another state to participate in three-week intensive internships in an office with day-to-day mentoring and guidance from an ACYPL alumnus with the goal of strengthening their understanding of American governance, politics, and the legislative process. At the conclusion of the program, all fellows will return to Washington for a 3-day Congress where they will share their experiences with other international fellows from around the world.

    In partnership with the US State Department, ACYPL’s Professional Fellows Congress welcomes over 200 international professionals and emerging leaders from 45 countries and territories to Washington, DC for a three-day conference event. The congress marks the completion of five to six-week fellowship programs, implemented by fourteen organizations across the US, where participants work in the areas of entrepreneurship, NGO-development and legislative process and governance. During the three-day conference, entitled “Making It Matter: Changing the World One by One,” fellows will participate in workshops and networking events to broaden their professional expertise and share action plans for projects to be implemented upon returning home. The congress provides an opportunity for fellows to share insight, knowledge, and solutions to challenges they may face in their communities.
