On June 14, 2006, the ACYPL hosted an
all-day alumni event for ACYPL’s 40th Anniversary Celebration! The celebration was the largest and most star-studded program in ACYPL’s history - combining the annual Washington Briefing Day with a spectacular Anniversary Gala that evening.
Alumni embody the profound effect ACYPL exchanges
can have on young leaders. Alumni from across the country joined
us in celebrating this milestone and collectively demonstrated
the leadership contributions ACYPL alumni have made to our
states, our country and to the world. Their participation helped
us showcase just how valuable ACYPL exchange programs truly are.
